Okay i have land in central Florida is there a goodway to seal out moisture so the bales don't get wet? Am looking in to plastic sheet or rubber all advice will be check out.The lot is high land and lots of trees and lots of sand.Am looking at post and beam frame .Because we get high winds and crazy storms

Growing up on a mixed-farm meant that much of daily life revolved around bales: straw and hay. Interest in alternative energy and green living stirred up "appropriate housing" discussions; and a philosophy of life that admits that we are here by design not chance, led me to embrace straw bale construction wholeheartedly.
